PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES
Yoga is for everyone. In a private session, each class is tailored to your specific needs and goals. Whether you are a beginner or looking to develop and strengthen your existing practice, private yoga sessions allow students to ask questions and cultivate their own practice. CORPORATE YOGA CLASSES In corporate yoga courses, classes are taught on site in your place of work either at lunchtime or before or after work. Your yoga space might be a gym, conference room or communal area with enough room to roll out some mats! Mindfulness in the workplace is important for all of us. Yoga can help relieve physical tension in areas that might have developed tightness or weakness as well as building team spirit and community of wellbeing. VINYASA FLOW YOGA
Vinyasa Flow involves movement on the breath. There is an initial focus on connecting with the breath and using that to support the postures. As the class progresses, the postures are linked together in a sequence and then practiced on the breath. Students will build strength, flexibility, muscle tone, balance and mindfulness. I believe that practicing yoga with a mindfulness of the breath helps to create freedom and flexibility in the body. YIN YOGA Yin yoga is a slow moving, almost still practice that gently stresses and stretches the connective tissues in the body and challenges the mind to pause and reflect. Students can expect to use a variety of props to support longer holds in poses. Yin yoga is most effective when practiced in balance with other strength training exercises or disciplines. Classes are 60 minutes in duration. |
